I also appreciated hearing him speak Spanish from time to time too - a very nice touch. I fell in love with him and his sweet interactions with his Papi and Abuela. Speaking of characters, I love them all! Five is easily my favorite character. Even though some of the references flew over my head, the dialogue between the characters was very comedic and enjoyable to listen to. As someone who has never been much of a gamer, this show made me want to purchase a gaming console and play every game referenced in the show (which is a LOT). It's a Ghostbusters meets Men in Black kinda vibe with all the gaming love and care to go around. In order to stop these glitches, the Hinobi Tech Corporation employs Glitch Techs to stop and capture the glitches. What are Glitch Techs? Well, have you ever wondered what really happens when a game starts to glitch? Instead of the game just glitching out and turning off, when a game glitches, it brings out a digital artificial intelligence (or a "glitch") usually in the form of a character or creature from that game and into the real world. Glitch Techs is the story of two teenagers, Hector "Five" Nieves and Miko Kubota, as they work through their new jobs as honorary Hinobi Glitch Techs. Looking for that next creative show to scratch the itch I needed it to, Glitch Techs was the treatment I needed to clear my skin. All I knew was that it was a show coming out on Netflix and its second season had just been released a while back. Before seeing its name popping up on Twitter, I didn't know much about Glitch Techs. Ally's name may be a pun on the word ally, in video games meaning a helpful NPC.What a breath of fresh air.Her ability of eating glitches bears some similarities to Yoshi's abilities in the Super Mario franchise. Ally might also be based off Chocobos from the Final Fantasy franchise. Ally is most likely based off the ostriches from the Williams arcade game Joust, or Banjo's bird sidekick Kazooie from the Nintendo 64 game Banjo-Kazooie.When Ally seems to be broken, Five asks why Miko doesn't just get a new one (using the logic that no one would know), Miko states that she would know that it wouldn't be the real Ally. For Miko, Ally is a beloved friend, but she also says she doesn't want to think too hard about whether or not as a glitch she counts as being alive or not. This form enhanced her normal abilities and increases her health points. Can enter this form from a berry (might be from her game).Power Absorption: Can use the power of anything she eats being glitches or technological devices like Miko's gauntlet. This ability can't be used if an organic it retains or mounts her, but can teleport no life matter with her like the game controllers Miko uses to tie her in Going, Going, Gauntlet!. Teleportation: Can turn glitch energy to teleport in a short-range. High Speed: She is agile and can run fast. Ally has three tail feathers with one tail feather being brighter than the others. Ally's face is covered with yellow feathers and the top of her head has three head feathers. She has two large red wings and the tips of her wings are burgundy. Ally has two toes on each of her feet with visible talons. Ally is a large bird resembling an ostrich that has red and yellow feathers all over her body.
